This Privacy Policy describes how Wisystar.us (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use, visit, or make a purchase from the Site.

Acceptance of this Privacy Policy

By using, visiting, or making a purchase from the Site, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, you are not authorized to use, visit, or make any purchases via the Site and must immediately discontinue all use of the Site.

Collecting Information

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify as well as our Third Party Logistics Company should a customer request a refund or report malfunction.

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify as well as our Third Party Logistics Company should a customer request a refund or report malfunction.

Customer support information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, email address, credit card information, billing/mailing address and phone number.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our secure back-end application provided by Gorgias Inc.  

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Using Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Storage and Retention

We store Personal Information and other information in the United States using reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards. Please be aware that the Site and data storage are run on software, hardware and networks, any component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance or experience problems or breaches of security beyond our control. Within 10 days of our receipt of your request, we will provide a response that includes information about our process to verify your identity, except in instances where we have already granted or denied a request. We may charge a small service fee for completion of any granted requests.

Privacy Rights of California Residents under CCPA

This section of the Privacy Policy applies solely to visitors, users, and others who are residents of the State of California (“consumers”). If a term used in this section of the Privacy Policy is defined in either the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (“CCPA”) and/or the California Consumer Privacy Act Regulations promulgated by the California Attorney General (the “Regulations”), then that term shall have the same meaning as the definition in the CCPA and/or its Regulations when used in this section of the Privacy Policy only.

We do not, and will not, sell Personal Information to any third-party. We also do not, and will not, share any Personal Information with third-parties for the third-parties’ marketing purposes.

Our Personal Information Collection and Use Practice

We collect Personal Information when a California consumer uses or visits the Site or purchases any products or services via the Site. The categories of Personal Information we collect are described below with reference to the statutory categories of Personal Information specified in the CCPA (California Civil Code section 1798.140):

How to Exercise Your Rights

Support@WisyStar.us. When submitting such request, you must provide your full name, address, phone number, and email address. We will use such information to attempt to verify your identity by comparing the information provided to the information collected and/or maintained by us.  

 

California consumers have the right to designate an authorized agent to exercise the privacy rights conferred by the California Consumer Privacy Act on their behalf. Your authorized agent may make a request on your behalf upon our verification of the agent's identity and our receipt of a copy of the valid power of attorney given to your authorized agent pursuant to California Probate Code Sections 4000-4465. If you have not provided your agent with such a power of attorney, you must provide your agent with written and signed permission to exercise your CCPA rights on your behalf, provide the information we request to verify your identity and provide us with written confirmation that you have given the authorized agent permission to submit the request.

Right to Not Be Discriminated Against

California consumers have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment from us for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

In addition to these rights, pursuant to California’s “Shine the Light” law, California consumers who share Personal Information with us have the right to request and obtain from us once per year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Information (if any) for direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of Personal Information disclosed to those parties.
